We entered into pediatrics to better the lives of others in our community. We strive to help patients feel healthy and strong, to help children grow into productive adults. Toward this goal we have a few office policies described below:
We try to see every sick patient on the same day. Appointments are available:
Saturday 9am-12pm* or until the last patient is seen.
**Please note that obligatory meetings and vacations may affect these hours.
*Our phones are switched to an auto attendant at 6pm Monday-Thursday, 5pm Friday-12pm Saturday. Please leave a message for the on call physician if you feel your child cannot wait for a next day appointment. Your call will be returned. Requests for next day sick appointments may be left on our general delivery mailbox. We will return your call the following morning (except Sunday) to schedule.
Call us! If you have questions about your child’s health, or are wondering if an office visit would be appropriate, we want to hear from you.
During off- hours, our physicians are on-call 24/7 for urgent calls.
We practice as a team so as to have availability for physicals within 1-2 weeks, especially in the popular after-school hours, and summer months. While we encourage you to find one provider who knows you best, we communicate constantly with one another so that your family is known to the entire practice. When your children need health care, they will see someone who knows them well.
New Patient Information:
New patients must contact our billing department, 978-256-5240 to register your child/children prior to scheduling appointments. Please have your insurance information available. A copy of your child’s/children’s full medical record must be provided to Chelmsford Pediatrics, prior to scheduling a well visit.
